Connie Hoagland Collier

Memorial service for Connie Hoagland Collier, age 72, of Spring Hill, TN will be held at 2:30 pm on Saturday, September 17, 2022, at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church with Rev. Ann Hatcher and Bro. Tommy Graham officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm on September 17, 2022, at the church.

Connie was born February 11, 1950, in Springfield, OH to the late L.G. Hoagland and Rebecca Crawford Alexander. She graduated from Central High School in Fayetteville, and then University of Alabama at Huntsville. Connie retired as an administrator and company secretary for Mental Health Services located in Brentwood, TN. The joy in her life was being Granny to Lexie and her world revolved around her. Connie passed away August 29, 2022, at NHC Columbia, Maury Regional Transitional Care with her girls by her side.

Survivors include her husband, Larry Collier; daughters Deanna Cooper of Chapel Hill, TN, Meredith Cooper of Spring Hill; granddaughter, Lexie Cooper; brother, John (Alison) Hoagland of Fayetteville; bonus children, Tina (Greg) Holt, Mark (Melissa) Collier, Joshua (Leann) Collier; bonus grandchildren, Kenedy Holt, Brittney (Phillip) Wright, Tyler Collier, Christian Collier; and bonus great-grandchildren, Emmerson, Sawyer Kate, and Dawson Wright. She was preceded in death by her parents.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Children’s Center for Autism-Community Development Center, 111 Eaglette Way, Shelbyville, TN 37160 or Snooty Giggles Dog Rescue, PO Box 95, 1507 Thompson’s Station Rd W, Thompson’s Station, TN 37179.

Donita and I grew up with Connie. We had lots of fun playing on the Crawford farm. And maybe got into some trouble with granny. Rest well sweet cousin. Donna Crawford Mancini
