I have just heard about the death of Clare. My sincere sympathy to her family. I can remember going to a party at her house when we were probably in the 7th or 8th grade. Mrs. Ralston served Russian tea! It really made an impression with me. May God comfort you now and in the days ahead.

I was shocked and saddened to hear that Clare had died. We were together at AU in DC and she was the photographer at my wedding i 1972. Many fond memories of the parties and dinners with Clare and other friends in NW DC–she was kind and funny and always a joy to be with. My deepest sympathies to her family and friends.

Clare was one of the sweetest people I ever knew. We dated for awhile when we were both at American U. in DC. I visited her in Fayetteville in the winter of 1970, and met her parents, and on the way back to DC, stopped in Nashville to see her aunt. I was very fond of Clare, and wished I had never lost touch with her. If I had any sence, I should have married her when I had the chance. Now that I found her, she’s gone.

Please tell me what happened to her. Thank you. She will be in my prayers.

Dear Susan…
Today I was looking on-line for Clare. In clearing out my old papers, I had found an announcement of an art show at the Art Barn in Rock Creek Park Washington, DC. It must have been in the 1970s. Clare was showing her work of photography. We had lost touch over the years. I am very sorry to find that she has passed away. She was very kind to me when I first moved to DC and I liked her very much. I hope you are well and I am so sorry for your loss of this dear sister. Robin Mustain Warfield
