Ms Cindy was one of my most favorite people in this world. She never judged me, she always encouraged me, never looked down on me, never treated me any different and always loved me. She was always in my corner cheering me on. She was inspirational and spiritual and I really admired that in her. I respected her and I loved her so much. She will never know just how much she helped me in my recovery. I’ll always be grateful for that. My prayers go out to Tennille & family during this time of grief.

To all of Cindy’s family: I know you are hurting with the loss of your dear precious Cindy. There are many of her friends who are hurting also. I am heartbroken that Cindy has been taken from us at such a young age. I was her teacher years ago, and every time I saw her, she was so happy to see me and reminisce about our time in the classroom together. She would always remember some little something that would make us both laugh. I loved her big hugs and her infectious smile. My goodness, how I will miss her! You all have my deepest sympathy, especially Shawn and Tennille. I am lifting you up in prayer for strength in the days ahead.

Cindy would always brighten my day if I was not able to muster a smile. I turned to her for advice and wisdom and I will always remember how she told me how truly proud she was of me recently for taking a huge step and making a life change. I going to miss being able to just message or text her and say….Hey guess what I just did…..

Cindy was such a sweet person. She had a beautiful smile and personality to match. When I was a young and very inexperienced attorney, she took me under her wing and taught me so much. She played a huge role in my career and life. She was so good at her job in the Circuit Court Clerk’s office. When I was first elected District Public Defender in 1998, Cindy was one of the first to call and congratulate me. She always made me smile and laugh. She will be missed by many. I am blessed to know her and call her my friend.
