Charles “Buddy” Reese

Funeral services for Mr. Charles “Buddy” Reese, age 80, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Thursday, November 10, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Clayton and Bro. Greg Wiser officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mr. Reese passed away Monday, November 7, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Reese was a native of Lincoln County, TN, the son of the late John Loyd and Lillian Sue Bradford Reese. He was a cutter for Serbin, Jonathan Logan and Lee Manufacturing. He was also an Army veteran and a member of the Park City Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife Marie Roland Reese of Fayetteville, TN, daughter Jan (Ronnie) Brooks of Fayetteville, TN, son Stacy (Noelle) Reese of Sahuarita, AZ, grandchildren Kaila (Jared) Gentry of Fayetteville, TN, Alex Reese of Mobile, AL, Kendall Reese of Portland, OR, Max Reese of Sahuarita, AZ and great grandchildren Camden and Ady Gentry of Fayetteville, TN. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Almedia Cobb, Glydon Gordon, Betty Jean Holliday and Gail Spencer.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, November 9, 2016 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

Jan I am so sorry for your loss I really enjoyed working with your dad at Jonathan Logan he was such a joy to be around so kind and helpful. You and your family will be in our prayers.

It was always such a pleasure to talk to Mr. Buddy. After my Mother n law (Letha English Thompson) passed, we lost out on knowing more about her kin folks. May God comfort and grant the family peace during this time.
