Cecil was a great soldier for God and married a Christian woman who is like the women in Prov 31. They raised 3 wonderful Christians children. Cecil will be missed. My heartfelt thoughts and prayers are with Ava, Kevin, Daniel, Leslie and the rest of the family. This family have been through so much and through all this still continue to be faithful to God. We all can learn from the Kimbrough family. We love you all. You have and continue to bless my life because I know you.

Your family has been through so much this year. It is hard to understand why things happen the way they do. I remember when my mom was in the hospital… how she worried about Cecil and about the rest of the family. She cared so much about you all. When mom died, I struggled to understand why…until God revealed to me that he has a bigger plan for her. A plan for her good, and for the good of others. I still don’t understand, but trusting that God is all-powerful, all-knowing, and a loving father gave me a peace that I also do not understand. No matter how much you know in your head, your heart will still struggle to make sense of this terrible loss. I pray that God will cover your pain with His Grace, and bless you with peace and reconciliation in your grief. On behalf of my mom, Reva Farmer, and of myself…and in the name of Christ, I pray for these things.
Debbie

I am shocked and very sad at the loss of my friend Cecil. Although we hadn’t talked for years he and Ava did come by for a visit probably 10 years ago. We worked side by side at PPG as we made mats for aircraft windshields. Cecil was a strong Christian. Although we didn’t see eye to eye on everything Christian we were still friends and shared and loved classic country music. Charlie Louvin was a favorite singer of his. We even attempted to write a song together. I pray our Lord Jesus Christ will comfort Ava and the family…they will be in our prayers. I miss you Cec. I KNOW you are conversing with Jesus right now.
