Funeral services for Mr. Cecil Allen (Al) Watson, age 73 of Steger, IL, will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Van Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Boonshill Cemetery. Mr. Watson passed away Friday in IL.
A son of the late James Miles and Ruby Lorene Scott Watson, he was a native of Lincoln County, and was a retired certified diesel mechanic with Material Service Corp.
Survivors include his wife Velma Ruth Parker, sons Jeffrey Watson and wife Colleen, Anthony Watson and wife Fanae, and James Timothy Watson, grandchildren Jacob, Tyler, and Carter Watson, and Steven Seeley, sister Linda Mullins and husband Jerry, brother Larry Watson and wife Rita, dear friends Ida Murphy and Rick Sapp, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be from 11-1 PM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home.
