Graveside service for Mrs. Catherine Phillips Campbell, age 91, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Friday February 5, 2016 at 10 am at Riverview Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Phillip D. Brown officiating. Mrs. Campbell passed away February 2, 2016 at Donalson Care Center.
A native of Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Lee Johnson and Bessie Taylor Johnson. Mrs. Campbell was a bookkepper for Earl Hyde Furniture Company, and worker in the Lincoln County tax assesors office for ten years, and a member of the Park City Church of Christ.
Survivors include daughters Cathy (Max) Raby of Fayetteville, Sue Monks of Midlothian, VA. Son Jimmy Phillips of Fayetteville, grandchildren Daniel (Amy) Boone, Lori (Chris) Thornton , Sharon (Bill) Broyles, Lisa (Phillip) Brown and Susan Monks. Great grandchildren, Taylor Boone, Austin Thornton, Wesley Thornton, Alex Broyles, Trace Broyles, Lissa Brown and Brandon Brown. Mrs. Campbell was preceeded in death by her first husband Robert Curtis Phillips and her second husband Paul Campbell, sisters Reba Collins, Sally Whitt, Velma Syler, Barbara Stewman and brother Robert Johnson.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday February 4, 2016 from 5 – 7 pm at Higgins Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kelly Pittenger Senior Center, 908 W. Washington St., Fayetteville, TN 37334

Mrs. Cathy, Mr. Max, and family,
So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Catherine. I remember her from many, many years ago when she worked for Papaw and Daddy. She was a very sweet, prim and proper lady as I recall. I know she will be missed by all of you and please know you are all in our prayers.

Kathy, I’m so sorry I can’t be there to pay respects to a precious lady. She was always an ascent to Erle Hyde Company,, I remember her most for the best yellow cake with Carmel icing I have ever had. She loved her sisters so and can now join them for eternity.
