I came to know Carol in 1998, little did I know a friendship as a mother-in-law and best friend had arose between the two of us.. I’ll always remember the late night card games we had, the long talks we had and we wonderful lunch dates we had together. But I have to say the one occasion I will always remember and laugh about was when she was trying to teach me how to make gravy. That was the funniest thing we had ever done together. We laughed about that some many times. Carol will be greatly missed in this world. Kim

Carol will truly be missed. She touched my life in so many
ways from the time I was a small boy to the present. I would like to say that even though there were long periods of time between visits and conversations, when I would finally see her or talk to her, I felt like I was at Home.
She is Family, She is Loved and She will be missed.
I Love my Aunt Carol. “God Bless Us All”

I first met Carol when I was about 8 years old… and at that age coming to meet your Stepmother, well lets just say I had already made up my mind that I wasnt suppose to like her, or at least thats how all the ‘evil stepmother’ fairytales had written it. And i tried my hardest for a good while not to like her one bit… but I just could’nt do it. Carol was always a kind hearted, compassionate and loving woman who, I could see even at a young age, made my Daddy smile right down to his heart and i just could’nt argue with that. the minute I opened up to Carol, I found myself not only a wonderful Stepmother, but a beautiful person and friend. I remember when I was about 16 years old, Carol took me out for Chinese food one afternoon and we were sitting there talking like we always would and she came out and told me that when we first met, when I was 8 years old mind you, she said ‘Jennifer, you TERRIFIED me! I hid in the bathroom and your Daddy had to come in and try to calm my nerves telling me “Baby, she is just a little 8 year old girl…” … We laughed so much over that, even in the years to come. Anyone who knew Carol in the least, knows just how amazing she was and those who did’nt know her missed out on a beautiful person. I count myself Blessed to have known Carol…and to have been able to call her not only my Stepmother, but my dear friend…she will be forever loved and never far from our hearts

Carol was not only my sister but my best friend. She was my closest sibling in age so we played together as children, dated together as teenagers and stayed best friends all our lives. We traveled together and shared so many great memories!

She was one of the most courtageous people I know and as she, Joe her husband, and I traveled down to Jacksonville, FL to Mayo Clinic so she could undergo a very serious and risky surgery to remove tumors from her stomach and liver, she was very brave and did not complain one time. Out of the five weeks she and Joe had to stay for her to recover and two weeks I stayed with her, she handled herself with dignity and had her faith in God and many, many prayers to sustain her from family, friends, and the GIST Foundation which is the type of rare cancer she had.

My husband, Joe, thought the world of Carol and loved her as much as I did. She will be missed by Joe and I and all our family and friends and everytime we think of her, we will have a smile on our face as she did so often! I love you, Carol, with all my heart! Mary

Carol will be sorely missed by all but especially by joe her loving husband. Carol made it known many times she found happiness in her marriage most never find. Me and sherry spent many hours with them many times enjoying games cards and pool shooting. She will be sorely missed. Carol was also an excellent cook and took lots of pride in her cooking.
