Funeral service for Carolyn Marie Harbin Gault, age 74, of Fayetteville, will be conducted at 1 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Milton Martin and Bro. Larry Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
Mrs. Gault was a native of Fayetteville, TN and daughter of the late Woodrow Wilson and Laura Vivian Jones Harbin. She was a member of First Baptist Church, former owner and operator of C.G.’s Total Image Hair Salon, and was recently attending Lincoln Baptist Church. Mrs. Gault loved her career and loved people. She was always very kind, greeted you with a smile and never met a stranger.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Gary Wayne Gault; sons, James Michael “Mike” (Deborah) Brown, William Leonard “Billy Lynn” (Elizabeth) Gault, and Robert Wayne (Thelma Roland) Davis; grandsons, Stephen “Tyler” (Sabrina) Brown, Jordan Aaron Gault, Noah Gault, Justin (Dixie) Bates, and Christopher Robert “Chris” Davis; great-grandson, Dylan Corey Bates; sisters, Barbara (Horace) Williamson and JoAnn (the late Joe) Land; nephews, Jerry Wayne Williamson, Allen Bennett, Chris Scott, Chuckie (Patty) Scott, Craig (Kelly) Scott, and Josh (Julianne) Ogle; nieces, Deborah (Danny) Zita, Vivian (Carl) Fried, Karen (Tim) Piser, Paula Tunfano, Debbie (Randy) Gifford, Pam (Tracy) Farmer, Holly (Michael) Franklin, Keri (Ted) Murphy, and Faith (Justen) Gierhart; several great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friend, Bro. Ian Bloxham. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Gault was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert C. Davis, who passed away in 1968.
Visitation with the family will be 5 until 8 PM Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 470, Fayetteville, Tennessee 37334. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Carolyn Marie Harbin Gault.

I apologize, but I just learned of Carolyn’s passing. She was such a wonderful lady and will be missed by many people. Her smile is what I’ll remember the most!
