Susan and family, So sorry to hear about your loss. We always thought so much of her and have many fond memories (from church and school). Always think of the time she went down the slide with the children and broke her arm. Such a fun, sweet person! Thoughts and prayers – Carolyn Brooks and Family

John, Susan, Jim and Mr Alkenburg,

So sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Alkenburg. I appreciate all that she did for the kids who lived and played on the “Avenues” . Those have always been fond memories over the years. I also admired her ability to teach, guide and be a good role model for all her students. May God bless you in this time of sorrow.

Sincerely,

Mickey
