A funeral service for Mrs. Carla Louise Wood, age 44 of Fayetteville, TN will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 11 am at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Nichols and Bro. Danny Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
Carla was born on October 21, 1976 in Lincoln County, TN. She was a veteran of the US Navy, worked as a Sales Representative with Kirkland Pest Control and loved being a stay home mom and caring for her children. Carla was a member of Maranatha Baptist Church. She passed away on August 26, 2021.
Survivors include parents, Carl Anthony Thomason of Lewisburg, TN and Nancy Faye Walker (Phillip) Marcy of Erin, TN; husband, Todd James Wood of Fayetteville; children, Collin James Wood of Wausau, WI, Nolan David (Fiancé Samantha) Wood, Ravyn Alicia Wood and Noelle Louise Wood all of Fayetteville; brother, Robert Neal Thomason of North Pole, AK; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and special friends and caregivers, Marie Swearingen and Kimberly Osborne. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Gordon and Monnie Walker; paternal grandparents, Robert and Louise Thomason.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5 pm until 8 pm on Friday, September 3, 2021 at Higgins Funeral Home.
