Bobby Fred Shelton

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Fred Shelton age 78 of Kelso, will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Joe Parks officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.

A native of Lincoln County, he was the son of the late James Homer and Mary Annie Ruth Reynolds Shelton, Mr. Shelton was a retired Railroad worker and farmer.

Survivors include his granddaughter Alannah Lively and husband Josh of Huntsville, AL. sister Mildred Franklin and husband Bob , aunt Lyda Williams, and nephews Randy Waller, Barry May and wife Tonya and there children Alyssa and Kaylee May and Charles and Andrew Brown all of Kelso, close friend Mike McNeal. Mr Shelton was preceded in death by his wife Jackie Shelton and step daughter Wendy Wilson.

Visitation with the family will be Thursday evening from 5 until 8 p.m.

We thought the world of Mr Fred! He was such a nice man with tons of funny jokes! He always brought us a Coconut Cake every Christmas! Prayers for the family!

Alannah, I am so sorry about Fred, he loved you so much.
I worked with Jackie a long time a DHS. Fred would always tell me what you were doing when I saw him. He was so proud of you. You also knew my children when you went to Stewarts Chapel. Mary Jo and Renee. You will be in my prayers. Mildred you will be in my prayers too.
