A graveside service for Billy John Dunman, age 66, of Fayetteville, TN will be held at 4pm on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at Lebanon Cemetery with Rev. Todd Gaskill officiating. There will be no visitation prior to the service.
Billy was born September 29, 1956, in Lincoln County, TN to the late Homer and Sara Elizabeth Gault Dunman. He loved fishing and making his rounds to the business around town visiting with his friends. Billy also enjoyed spending time at the Senior Citizens Center and Bingo days were his favorite. Billy passed away June 23, 2023, at Donalson Care Center in Fayetteville.
Survivors include his friend and caregiver, Dora Barnes; cousins, Ron (Betty) Gault, Linda Womack, Shannon Gault, Dean Bevels, Mike (Nancy) Bevels, Kim Bevels, and Sandy DeVaney. In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by his beloved aunt, Mabel Bevels.

You and daddy were always the closest of friends . If you were not at home , you were usually at their house . Brandy and I grew up with you in our lives. You were always so good to all of us .We loved you and we will miss you ♥️

So sorry about Billy John went to school with him and was neighbors growing up. He called us after he came home from Lynchburg to tell us he was home and thinking of us. Such a good hearted man . So sorry for all his family and friends he will surely be missed. 🙏🙏🙏
