Billy Edwin Richardson

Funeral services for Mr. Billy Edwin Richardson, age 83, of 954 Shelbyville Highway Fayetteville will be conducted at 2PM Sunday at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Billions officiating. Burial will follow in Melson Cemetery. Mr. Richardson died Friday morning at Lincoln Medical Center. He was a native of Moore County, TN and the son of the late Isom and Pearl Collier Richardson. Mr. Richardson received the Purple Heart while serving in the U. S. Army, retired from the Tennessee Department of Transportation and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Dorothy Steelman Richardson of Fayetteville, sister Marjorie Ross of McMinnville, step-sister Rachel London of Lewisburg and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Richardson was preceded in death by step-mother Virginia Brown Richardson and three brothers Clyde, Fred and Charles Richardson. Visitation with the family will be Saturday evening 4-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
