Funeral service for Ms. Billie J. Janeway age 76, of Elora will be conducted Thursday at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Junior Brazier and Bro. Billy Joe George officiating. Burial will follow in Flintville Cemetery. Ms. Janeway passed away Saturday in Life Care Center of Tullahoma.
A native of Chicago, IL and the daughter of the late Naomi Surber and Henry Clay Janeway. Ms. Janeway was a business office manager for National Life Insurance Company.
Survivors include her sister Dorothy Coyne of Chicago, IL, caregiver for 20 years Lynn Lamb of Elora, TN, 7 nieces and nephews, 15 great nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening from 5 until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

Although I missed the last twenty years of your life here on earth, I love you, just as I did when I was a child and still have nothing but the fondest memories of you. Always looked forward to and enjoyed the many visits you made to Tennessee to visit with your country neices and nephew and your much loved and very much missed middle sister, Nancy Phyllis Janeway Jean and brother-in-law Joe Jean. Such wonderful times, really. You are in the company of so many great loved ones now and I know that Mom has already made you smile at least once. Love always.

I as Lori have not been a part of your life since Mom and Dad’s untimely passing, which is unfortunate. I love you, and will always cherish the memories of the many years we were close. I always enjoyed the letters you and I wrote to each other when I was young and you lived in Chicago. Sadly this will be my last letter to you. You’re home now with so many of our most beloved and deeply missed family members. With love.
