Funeral services for Mrs. Betty Caldwell Ivey, age 88, of Fayetteville will be conducted Thursday at 11AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Larry Meeks officiating. Burial will follow in Kirkland Cemetery beside her husband William Thurston Ivey who died in 1998. Mrs. Ivey departed this life Tuesday May 25th.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Henry Walter and Ethel Jean Caldwell. Mrs. Ivey was a farmer, homemaker, child care provider and was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church.
Survivors include her daughter Hilda Capley of Fayetteville, two sisters Jewell Fuller of W Memphis, Arkansas, Gladys Berryman of Huntsville, grandson Scott Horton of Fayetteville, granddaughter Angela Vargas of Fayetteville, TN and the great-grandchildren Logan Horton, Eric Horton and Tamara Moyers.
Visitation with the family will be Thursday from 9AM-11AM at Higgins Funeral Home.
