Betty Ann Fears Honey Wren

Funeral service for Ms. Betty Ann Fears Honey Wren, age 88, of Hazel Green, AL will be conducted at 11 AM on Monday, June 3, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Tim Shields officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Ms. Wren.

Betty was born on February 13, 1931 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Homer Lee and Ola Pearl Fanning Fears. She worked as a nurse for Lincoln County Hospital and the Medical Center in Huntsville, AL. Ms. Wren passed away on May 30, 2019.

Survivors include her children, Debbie Lemley of Huntsville, AL, Judy Honey of Ozark, AL, and Stanley (Tressa) Honey of Fayetteville, TN; grandchildren, Jeff (Suzi) Pierce, Gina (Deon) Tanner, Melissa (Barry) Priest, Amanda (Chad) Logan, Michael (Kelly) Honey, Cori Honey, Carmen Honey, and Heather Alexander; twelve great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mickey Honey, and a great-grandson, Seth Fultz.

Visitation with the family will be held at 5 PM until 8 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Higgins Funeral Home.

Miss Betty was the sweetest neighbor and a precious friend. Me and Wayne will miss her. Our prayers are with her family as they grieve their loss. May God send peace of understanding and comfort to each family member !
