Funeral services for Betsy Rambo Fitzgerald, age 82, of Fayetteville will be conducted Thursday at 11AM at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Ward officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Fitzgerald passed away Tuesday morning in Huntsville Hospital.
She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Joe Bennett and Lois Harms Rambo Sr. Mrs. Fitzgerald was formerly employed with the City of Fayetteville, the Rambo Motor Company and was a member of the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two sons Lee Gray and wife Cindy of Fayetteville and James Gray of Fayetteville, brother Bud Rambo and wife Kathryn of Fayetteville, four grandchildren Taylor Gray of Fayetteville, Henry Gray, Caroline Gray and Emily Gray all of Pottsboro, TX, and one great-grandchild Jackson Gray of Pottsboro, TX.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church Building Fund, Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta or the Scottish Rite.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
