Do not ask me to remember.
Don’t try to make me understand.
Let me rest and know you’re with me.
Kiss my cheek and hold my hand.
I’m confused beyond your concept.
I am sad and sick and lost.
All I know is that I need you.
To be with me at all cost.
Do not lose your patience with me.
Do not scold or curse or cry.
I can’t help the way I’m acting.
Can’t be different though I try.
Just remember that I need you.
That the best of me is gone.
Please don’t fail to stand beside me.
Love me ‘til my life is done.

Thinking of your family at this sad time of loss. There are no words to say that will take away your pain or your tears. No one can know the depths of your loss, though I try to imagine how you must be feeling. Know that you are in my prayers and on my heart, today and in the months ahead… May God be with you and bless you.

” A.Small boy looked at a star and began to weep. And the star said, boy why are you weeping? And the boy said, you are so far away I will never be able to touch you. And the star answered, boy if I were not already in your heart you would not be able to see me.” John Magliola
