Barbara Ann Swinford

Funeral services for Barbara Ann Swinford, age 73 of Fayetteville, will be conducted Saturday afternoon at 2:30PM at the Parks City Baptist Church with Bro. Don Russell officiating.  Mrs. Swinford passed away Thursday at her residence.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late William Floyd and Sara Francis Ayers Davis.  Mrs. Swinford was retired office manager for Childress Concrete and a member of the Parks City Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband Charles Alton Swinford of Fayetteville, son Todd Swinford of Taft and daughter TaLisa (Ryan) Towry of Fayetteville, grandchildren Justin and Katie Swinford, Ashton and Peyton Towry, brothers William Homer (Belinda) Davis, Johnny (Patricia) Davis, Ray Davis, Nickie (Kathy) Davis and sister Vickie (Mike) Hopkins and granddog Daisy.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Swinford was preceded in death by two sisters Mary Katherine Kimbrough, Sara Josephine Davis and sister-in-law Vandie Davis.

Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 4-8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lincoln County Home Health and Hospice or the Alzheimer’s Association.

Higgins Funeral Home is assisting the family of Barbara Ann Swinford.
