Anita Lee Hall Smith

Graveside funeral service for Mrs. Anita Lee Hall Smith, age 85, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted at 10 AM on Saturday, July 21, 2018, at Champ Cemetery with Rev. Tim Smith officiating. Visitation with the family will be held on Friday, July 20, 2018, at 5 PM until 8 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

Mrs. Smith was born on May 10, 1933, in Princeton, AL, to the late Lee Boyd and Inez Bostick Hall. She was very family focused and loved spending time with her family and cooking. Mrs. Smith passed away on July 17, 2018, in Huntsville, AL.

Survivors include her children, Ken (Leslie King) Smith of Pulaski, VA and Donna Belinda Smith (Matt Talbot) of Nashville, TN; grandsons, Lee Nicholas Smith and Nathan Boyd Smith; sisters, Arnese Marvel and Loretta Harris; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, D.B. Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Family Care at 10000 Serenity Lane, Huntsville, AL 35803. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Smith.

My family and I met Anita last October when my mother became a resident at Rosewood. We loved talking to Anita. She would share sweet stories of her childhood and about her family. Precious lady, she will be greatly missed. R.I.P. Sweet Anita.
