Alton Able McCue

Funeral service for Mr. Alton Able McCue, age 76, of Dellrose, TN, will be conducted at 2 PM on Thursday, October 10, 2019, at Shiloh Community Center with Bro. Danny Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Shiloh Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be held at 12 PM until 2 PM on Thursday at the Shiloh Community Center.

Alton was born on August 26, 1943 in Willette, TN to the late JT Abel and Ola T Huddleston McCue. He worked as a cutter/grinder for General Motors Company and was a member of the Church of Christ. Alton enjoyed fishing, farming, and H.A.M radio. Mr. McCue passed away on October 7, 2019 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Nancy Jane Quillman McCue; children, Laura (Lonnie) Mullins of Fayetteville, TN, Tom (Sherry) McCue of Petersburg, TN, Angela McCue of Fayetteville, TN, Steven (Dawn) McCue of Shelbyville, TN, Cliff McCue of Dellrose, TN, and Jennifer Owens of Dellrose, TN; grandchildren, Clayton (Heather) Mullins, Ben (Kala) Mullins, Amber (Nathan) Massey, Justin Hosmer, Nicholas Hosmer, Cordell McCurry, Jacob McCue, Emily (Garreth) Young, Josh McCue, Mara McCue, Dylan Hoover, Kayla Owens, and Carson Owens; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Mullins, Libby Kate Massey, Kira Hosmer, Kadence Hosmer, Kane Hosmer, Kameron Hosmer, Jayda Hosmer, Sophia Hosmer, Christian Hosmer, Isabella Hosmer, and Henderson Young; and siblings, Jimmy (Velda) McCue of Shepherdsville, KY, Ann McCue (David Reed) of Titusville, FL, and David McCue of Titusville, FL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
