Graveside service for Mrs. Altie Avaleen McKin, age 83, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Sunday, January 17, 2016 at 2:30 p.m. at Lincoln Cemetery. Mrs. McKin passed away Friday, January 15, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. McKin was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late John Richard and Thelma Baker Sanders. She worked for Serbin, sold insurance for Higgins Funeral Home in the 1970’s and was a sales clerk in the Garden Center at Walmart until her retirement.
Survivors include daughter Patricia Clark, son Larry Wayne Carter both of Fayetteville, brother Milan Sanders of White House, TN, 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter and 7 great grandchildren. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by brother Ruben Sanders and sister Elaine Fultz.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday, January 17, 2016 from 12 until 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
