Allison worked for several years as Human Resources Administrator with Raytheon Technologies, where she met her husband of thirty-one years, Jeff Thrower. Allison was a bright star in the lives of all those who knew her. She loved as she lived, with all she had. Allison loved to spend time relaxing and fishing during the summer at their RV on Lake Logan Martin in Pell City. She enjoyed arts and crafts while she was busy at home. She loved spending time around their family pool and cooking for her family, especially during the holiday season. Her other passions included gardening, photography, Alabama football, and Atlanta Braves baseball. She was a devoted wife to Jeff and a loving mother to Joshua and Bradley. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Kensley, Grant, and Arlington certainly brought smiles and laughter to her life and joy in her heart.

I did not really know Allie as an adult, although I’m sure I met her in our growing-up years. I graduated from LCHS with Ronnie… a few years ago. I just wanted to say how sorry I am for your tremendous loss. I know you all must be saddened and shocked by the whole thing. Cling to those great memories and the love you shared as a family! I pray that God’s comfort be upon you all during this difficult time.

I spent 15 years of my life at Allison’s house as Jean’s best friend. She was an earthly big sister, and God couldn’t have handpicked a better one. She treated me just like one of the family that I dearly love. Prayers of blessed peace and sweet comfort for Sally, Ron, Jean, the Phillips, and Thrower families. Love, Jim, Christan, Miles & Henry

Jeff, and all of Allison’s loved ones, I am so sorry to hear of Allison’s passing. I remember very well her sweet and vivacious personality during the time we worked at Raytheon. She had the sweetest smile! I will always remember your and Allison’s hospitality, inviting me into your home and the enjoyable times we had during my work related trips to Germany. God bless all of your family. I know your lives will be so empty without her.

Sally, Ron, Laura, Jean, and Jeff.

We are so sorry for the loss of Allison. We didn’t have the pleasure of seeing Allison much through the years as we live outside of Buffalo, NY. However, one memory that was very special was when Bob & I, daughter Jennifer, Sally, Allison & Jean tent camped in the Cherokee National Forest.
How special it was for us cousins to have that time together while enjoying nature.
Another highlight was being at Allison’s wedding- beautiful!
