Funeral service for Mrs. Alice Lucille Gatlin Braden age 89, of Frankewing, TN, will be conducted Monday March 2, 2015 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Wrights Cemetery beside her husband Morris H. Braden who passed away 1989. Mrs. Braden passed away Saturday morning in Meadowbrook Healthcare in Pulaski.
A native of Oklahoma City, OK. She was the daughter of the late R.C. And Gladys Vinson Gatlin. Mrs. Braden was employed by Serbin and Scovill and she also worked at the Sands Restaurant in Frankewing. She attended the McBurg Church of Christ.
Survivors include her sons Ronnie (Cathy) Braden, Paul Braden, Eddie (Debbie) Braden all of McBurg. Brothers Windel and Jerry L. Gatlin both of Fayetteville, grandchildren Andria Barnes, Huntley Braden, Tana Braden and great grandchildren Kamron Barnes and Hanna Barnes. Along with her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brother Lewis Gatlin and sister Pauline Brice.
Visitation with the family will be Sunday evening March 1, 2015 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

Ronnie, Paul, Eddie and Family, so sorry to learn of your mother’s passing. My sympathy to you guys and family. Thoughts and Prayers during you difficult time. Losing a parent is hard but cherish the memories you have of her. Know she is in a better place. Love you guys.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to Lucy’s family. Ronnie, Paul & Eddie I can only imagine the chaos of raising three little boys! She so loved her family and was an excellent Mother. You are so blessed to have had her for so long.
