Graveside services for Mr. Oscar Owens, Sr. age 65 of 2837 Winchester Highway Flintville will be conducted at 11AM Friday at Cedar Hills Cemetery with Bro. Jeff Davis officiating. Higgins Funeral Home in charge.  Mr. Owens died Monday in Huntsville Hospital.

  He was a native of Leesburg, FL, the son of the late William and Sybil McCracken Owens, and was a construction worker.

  Survivors include his wife Mary Jo Harwell Owens of Flintville, daughter Rose Daniels of Leesburg, FL, son Oscar Owens Jr of FL, two step-sons Scott Harwell of Hazel Green, AL and Stan Harwell of Summertown, TN, three brothers J. T. Owens of Vidor, TX, Jimmy Owens of Viro Beach, FL and Danny Owens of Leesburg, FL, two sisters Jean Howard of Spartanburg, SC and Bonnie Owens of Utah.

 There will be no visitation at the funeral home prior to graveside services.
