Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Marjorie Lewter Williams, age 73, of Taft, will be conducted Tuesday afternoon at 1 PM at the Prosperity Cemetery with Randall Harmon officiating. Burial will follow beside her late husband Frank Williams. Mrs. Williams passed away Sunday morning at Lincoln Skilled Care.

     A native of Giles County, TN, she was the daughter of the late William Carlton and Irene McNeese Lewter. Mrs. Williams was retired from Amana and was a member of the Baptist Church.

     Survivors include one daughter: Connie Louise Johnson and husband Jackie of Taft, TN, five granddaughters, seven great grandchildren and three step-great grandchildren, two daughters-in-law Vicky Mitchell of Taft and Rita Mitchell of Belleville.

     In addition to her husband Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by two sons: Morris Lee Mitchell and William Thomas Mitchell and brothers: Phillip Wayne Lewter, W.C Lewter, Allan Lewter and Jerry Lee Lewter and one sister Vivian Hone.

     Visitation with the family will be Monday evening from 5-8 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home.
