It is with regret we announce the passing of Linda Fay May Wimberly, age 76, of Hazel Green, AL. Mrs. Wimberly was born on October 11, 1943 in Lincoln County, TN to the late John Milton and Annie Eva May. She worked as a seamstress with Lee Company. Linda passed away on November 16, 2019 at Huntsville Hospital.

Survivors include her children, Virginia (John) Matychowiak of Killen, AL, Becky (Brock) Harlan of Winfield, AL, Debra (Rick Maguire) Anglin-Maguire of Hamilton, AL, and Stacey Palmer of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren, Austin Skelton, Collin Skelton, Derrick Tesney, Jared Tesney, Courtney Tesney, Kayla Palmer, Kandice Palmer, Jessica Anglin, and Justin Anglin; three great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and a sister, Doris Decker of Fayetteville, TN. In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wimberly; former husband, James Ralph Skelton; son, Ralph Shane Skelton; and sisters, Wilma Towry and Ozelle (Lynn) Wilkerson.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at Lincoln Cemetery. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
