Funeral services for Mrs. Josephine Johnson Smith, age 68, of 395 Ardmore Highway, Fayetteville will be conducted Saturday at 1:00PM at St. Paul AME Church with Rev. Chris Grizzard officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant View Cemetery.  Mrs. Smith died Monday morning at her residence.

     She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Fred and Mable Bright Johnson.  She was a homemaker and a member of the St. Paul AME Church.

     Survivors include her husband Fletcher Smith of Fayetteville,  four sons Anthony D. Smith of Nashville, Fletcher Smith II of Memphis, Byron C. Smith of Fayetteville and Dustin C. Smith of Fayetteville, three daughters Sabrina A. Smith of Los Angeles, CA, Jorie R. Smith of Nashville, and Sharena M. Smith of Fayetteville, two sisters Marilyn L. Johnson of Fayetteville and Bessie A. Freeman of Dayton, Ohio, four brothers Fred D. Johnson of Memphis, Mitchell Johnson of Dayton, Ohio, Horace and John D. Johnson both of Nashville, 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

     Visitation with the family will be Saturday March 29 from noon until 1PM at the St. Paul AME Church.

     Higgins Funeral Home is in charge of services.
