I am so sorry for the loss of Doris. I worked with Doris for several years at CFW. She was a good close friend. I’ve been in Michigan for 40 years but I still remember the kind friendship with her. She was a true blessing. May she be in peace. God bless the family.

I worked with Doris at CFW back in the sixties. She was a quiet hard working mother who loved her family and her friends. She was blessed with a long life that saw happiness and sorrow. God bless her children and grandchildren.

April, Connie, Holly and your families, I’m so saddened to hear this. I’m so thankful I was able to meet her. So pretty and kind! I’m so incredibly sorry. I’m praying for you all. The song by Vince Gill “threaten me with heaven” comes to mind. Listen to it if you get a chance. I love you April.

A term used around the offices of CFW was “she (he) is a “good ‘un”, meaning assign a task, leave them alone, and they will do it professionally and timely. Doris fit that “good ‘un ” mold exceptionally as proven by a fifty year career, a record as that was the longest of any employee. Our sympathy is extended to Doris’ entire family.
