Obituary

Funeral service for Mr. David Clifford “Cliff” Harrison, age 87, of Tullahoma, TN, will be conducted at 1 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Lynchburg First United Methodist Church with Dr. Bob Jared and Rev. David Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville. Visitation with the family will be held from 11 AM until 1 PM on Saturday at the church.

Cliff was born on June 23, 1932 in Nashville, TN to the late David and Virgie Theoline Seaborn Harrison. Mr. Harrison played softball, basketball and football for Donelson High School.  He was voted Nashville “All City” in football for three years.  Cliff served in the United States Air Force for 2 years. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at Tennessee Tech. He worked as a Project Engineer for General Electric in Murfreesboro, TN for 30 years. Mr. Harrison passed away on August 31, 2019 at Morning Pointe of Tullahoma.

Survivors include his wife, Daphne Ann Bell; children, Pamela Wood Harrison (Rob Calvo) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Lance (Donna) Harrison of Loas, and Erid Harrison of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Chanda Boese, Joel Harrison, Owen Harrison, Ian Harrison and Emily Janney; great-grandson, Caleb Boese; and brothers, Jim (Dorothy) Harrison and Howard (Diana) Harrison. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Judy Faye West.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lynchburg First United Methodist Church at 65 Mechanic St. N., Lynchburg, TN 37352, the Alzheimer’s Tennessee, Inc., 207 N. Jackson St., Tullahoma, TN 37388, or to a charity of your choice.

    We are so sorry to learn of Cliff passing. Both Cliff and Daphne were a big part of our family for many many years. We treasure their friendship and thought of them as family. Cliff was a wonderful man and we were honored to know him. Sincere Condolences from Tina, Nancy and Russ.
