Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Meeks, age 58, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 2PM Saturday at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Ronnie Gay officiating. Burial will follow in Barnes Cemetery. Mr. Meeks died Thursday at Lincoln Medical Center. He was a native of Lincoln County and the son of the late Alvin and Louise Durham Meeks. Mr. Meeks was in the construction business. Survivors include 2 daughters Judy Tucker of Tullahoma, and Tricia Smith of Fayetteville, one son Allan Meeks of Fayetteville, twelve grandchildren Casey Tucker, Tori Tucker, Justin Bates, Kayla Bates, Kyle Bates, Ryan Bates, Trevor Bates, Nicole Smith, Logan Meeks, Chloe Meeks, Jeremiah Crabbe and Sammy Crabbe, one brother Ray Meeks of Fayetteville, sister Rose Mole of Fayetteville, and Fay Swinford of Fayetteville. He was preceded in death by grandsons Jacob Smith and Jackson Meeks and sister Edith Meeks. Visitation with the family will be Friday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
