Funeral services for Mrs. Virginia Morrison, age 82, of Fayetteville will be conducted at 11 AM Wednesday at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Corley, Bro. Johnny Ray Clardy, and Rev. Merle Mead officiating.  Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery beside her husband George W. Morrison who passed away in 2000.  Mrs. Morrison died Monday morning at Donalson Care Center.

     A daughter of the late William Richard and Margaret Ellen Vaughn Carter, she was a native of Lincoln County, a homemaker, and member of Calvary Baptist Church.

     Survivors include two sons Dwight Morrison and wife Valerie of Huntsville and Bobby R. Morrison and wife Wanda of Fayetteville, five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren, sisters Etha Jean Smartt of Fayetteville, Leona Tucker of Fayetteville, Barbara Ann Meade of Winchester, and Francis Steelman of Fayetteville, and brothers Edward Carter of Fayetteville and J.B. Carter of Shelbyville.     

     Visitation with the family will be conducted from 6-8 PM Tuesday evening at Higgins Funeral Home.
