Graveside service for Mrs. Vickie Lynn Wimberley, age 61, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted Monday, September 11, 2017 at 12 PM at Flintville Cemetery with Bro. Sean Thompson officiating.

Vickie was born on September 28, 1955 in Sumter, SC to Dorothea Mae and the late Gerald Bee Wimberley. She worked as a medical transcriptionist and enjoyed cross-stitching, knitting and family genealogy. Mrs. Wimberley passed away on September 7, 2017 at her residence.

Survivors include her mother, Dorothea Wimberley; brothers, Carl (Tina) and Kurt (Kristi) Wimberley; nieces, Alisha (Jared) Paul, Heather (Aaron) Hanson, Nicole Wimberley, and Emma Wimberley; and nephews, Kevin and Austin Wimberley.

There will be no visitation prior to the service. The Wimberley family invites you to a fellowship and remembrance meal Monday, September 11, 2017 at 5 PM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at 40 Hilltop Road, Fayetteville, TN 37334. Higgins is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Wimberley.

    Vickie has been my sister in the gospel for almost 30 yrs. She has half my heart with her. We love her in a way known only to us, she meant that much to our lives. No one I’ve ever know has the spirit she has. Bye for now to our Vickie.
