It is with regret we announce the death of Mrs. Shirley Layman Martinez, age 74, of Fayetteville. Mrs. Martinez passed away Saturday morning at her residence.

A daughter of the late Albert Buel and Marjorie Bethel Layman, she was a native of Key West, FL, formerly a ward secretary at DePoo Hospital in Key West, FL, and a member of St. Paul Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her children Zonia Likkel of Huntsville, Suzanna Young of Taft, Evelyn Beddow of Taft, Albert Mario Martinez of Key West, FL, Marai Martinez of Huntsville, and Michael Martinez of Key West, FL, 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and sister Christine Casado of Key West, FL.

The family of Mrs. Martinez will have services in Key West, FL at a later date.
