Graveside service for Mrs. Ruth Rhoades, age 87, of Fayetteville will be conducted  Wednesday at 1:00PM  at Blanche Cemetery with Bro. Jim Black officiating.  Burial will be in Blanche Cemetery beside her husband James Leamon Rhoades who died in 1994.  Mrs. Rhoades died Monday night in Lincoln Care Center.

She was a native of Lincoln County and the daughter of the late Joel and Ollie Monks Marshall.  Mrs. Rhoades was a former seamstress with Serbin Manufacturing and was a member of the Washington Street Church of Christ.

Survivors include a daughter Mrs. Becky Simms of Fayetteville, three sisters Edith Northcutt and Iris Northcutt both of Woodbury, TN, and Corrine Crowell of Hazel Green, AL and two brothers Gordon and Wilburn Marshall both of Fayetteville.

Visitation with the family will be Wednesday from 11:00am until 12:30pm at Higgins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the charity of your choice.
