Obituary

Funeral service for Robert Paul Vaughan, age 79, of Fayetteville, will be conducted at 1 PM on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home with Dr. Ronnie Gay and Bro. Dickey Crutcher officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.

Mr. Vaughan was born on May 26, 1939 in Akron, Ohio to the late Paul and Thelma Stutler Vaughan. He worked as a purchasing officer for South Central Human Resource Agency and was a member of the Prospect Baptist Church. Mr. Vaughan passed away on November 5, 2017 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Letha Carolyn Tate Vaughan; sons, Ronald Vaughan of Fayetteville and James Vaughan of Tullahoma; daughter, Tamra Jacks and her husband Anthony of Elora; and grandchildren, Brandon and Brad Jacks. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his half brother, Stanley Doake.

Visitation with the family will be 5 PM until 8 PM Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Higgins Funeral Home. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Robert Paul Vaughan.
