Funeral service for Mrs. Peggy Jean Patterson, age 73, of the Coldwater Community, will be conducted Wednesday May 18, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Moede officiating. Burial will follow at Carter Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Patterson passed away Saturday, May 14, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Patterson was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late Erk and Mary Baird Cross. She was a licensed beautician, and a member of the Coldwater United Methodist Church. Mrs. Patterson was a loving and devoted wife and mother.
Survivors include her husband Bobby Patterson of the Coldwater Community, daughter Jan McGowen and husband Kelly of the Coldwater Community, grandchildren Joshua Shannon and wife Mary, Tina Edwards and husband Josh, Windy McGowen, Bobby McGowen, great grandchildren Caylie, Cordelia, Carson, Jean, Mitch, brothers Everette Cross of Ardmore, TN, J.C. Cross of Maryland, sisters Hilda Hall of Louisville, KY, Betty Smith and husband Bobby of Ardmore, Tn and Judy Clem of Toney, AL.
Visitation with the family will be Wednesday, May 18, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.

I am so sorry for your loss of your beautiful mother. She will be missed in Coldwater. You have all been through a difficult time, but Ms Peggy Jean is in the loving arms of Jesus now. Rejoice in the fact that she is home and will never again experience pain. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
