Funeral service for Mrs, Peggy Chick age 78, of Fayetteville will be conducted 3 p.m. Thursday, October 13 at Higgins Funeral Home, with Bro. Wayne Hollingsworth and Bro. Bobby Bates officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery beside her husband Bobby J. Chick. Mrs Chick passed away October 10, 2016 at Donalson Care Center.
Mrs. Chick was a native of Lincoln County, the daughter of the late J.W. And Opal Parks. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include sons Billy Joe Chick of Petersburg, Terry Lee (Margaret) Chick of Flintville, Bobby Lynn Chick and Bobby Joe (Nancy) Chick, Jr. of Fayetteville; 10 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; brothers Harrel Parks of Hattiesburg, MS, Donnie Parks of Fayetteville, Gary Parks of Flintville; sisters Yvonne Shelton of Douglasville, GA, Janice Cothran of Holly Pond, AL, Rachel Taylor and Sammie Pigg of Fayetteville. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by son Jimmy Richard Chick, grandparents Charlie and Ella Parks, Sam and Esther Polly, brothers Tony Parks, Randall Parks and Larry Dennis Parks.
Visitation with the family will be 1 until 3 p.m. Thursday at Higgins Funeral Home.
