Obituary

Funeral service for Mrs. Nancy J. Faulkner, age 89, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home with Jimmy Buchanan and Bill Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Faulkner was born on July 8, 1928 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Daisy and Willie Mae Cunningham. She worked at Serbin for years and was a nurse’s tech at Lincoln County Nursing Home, Lincoln County Hospital and Donalson Care Center. She passed away on October 30, 2017 at Signature HealthCare of Columbia.

Survivors include her son, Jimmy Faulkner (Linda), Dickson, TN; daughter, Nanette Taylor (Steve) of Spring Hill, TN; grandchildren, Karen Cox (Jake), Jan Nayadley (Jesse), Christie Warwick (Kevin), Jamie Faulkner, and Doug Faulkner; and great-grandchildren, Wesley Dugger, Taylor Warwick, Kaylee Warwick, Hannah Warwick, Riley Nayadley, Cade Nayadley, Caleb Cox, Morgan Faulkner, Austin Faulkner, and C.J. Faulkner.

Visitation with the family will be held Thursday, November 2, 2017, at 11 AM until time of service at 2 PM at Higgins Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carriage House Players c/o Brenda Wilkes at 307 Third Avenue, Fayetteville, TN 37334 or Booneville Methodist Church c/o Billy Martin at 165 Billy Martin Road, Fayetteville, TN 37334.

    You will be missed Aunt Nancy, We loved you so much. She was a sweet and caring person so full love and I know her family will miss her. She is now with her cousins(Mariana and Dorien Tate) that thought of her as a sister and loved her so much.
