Funeral service for Mrs. Mary Addie Beams McCoy, age 91, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 2 PM on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. James Strope officiating. Burial will follow next to her husband, John C. McCoy, in Higgins Cedar Hills Memorial Gardens. There will be no visitation prior to the service.

Mrs. McCoy was born on December 13, 1926 in Detroit, MI to the late Henry and Phyllis Beams. She worked as a surgical operating room nurse in Ohio and was a founding member of Riverside Christian Academy. Mrs. McCoy passed away on November 25, 2018 at her residence.

Survivors include her children, Myles (Sheila) McCoy of Huntsville, AL, Kellyrae Marrs (late Danny) of Fayetteville, TN, Casey McCoy (Shirley Ables) of Fayetteville, TN, and Heather McCoy of Fayetteville, TN; grandchildren, Rianne Spurlock and Taz (Danielle) McCoy; great-grandchildren, Kiana Buchanan and Kyliah Simpson; great-great-grandchild, Wynter Garner; and sister, Ann Beams of California. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Alice Terry Lynn and Sara Colby.
