Some of my best childhood memories include visiting Mrs. Idella and all my “friends” at Piggly Wiggly when my Papa had the store in Fayetteville. She and all the sweet ladies treated my brother and me like we were family! My deepest condolences to the family after the loss of such a precious lady.

Idella and my mother were such good friends. She was such a sweet person, and made WONDERFUL chocolate pies.

Idella was a good cook! She made a great cherry cobbler! If it was not perfect she would make another until it met her standard.
