Funeral service for Mr. Jonathan Wayne Whitfield, age 40, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Sunday April 9, 2017 at 2 pm at Higgins Funeral Home, with Rev. Jay Pope officiating. Burial will follow in Morgan Cemetery. Mr. Whitfield passed away April 5, 2017 in Madison IN.

A native of Lincoln County, he is survived by his mother Mary Bradford of Kelso, father Ralph Whitfield and Deborah Whitfield of Petersburg, wife Stephanie Wilson Whitfield, children Jon Tyler Whitfield, Shayla Marie Whitfield, Dalton Wayne Whitfield, and Cooper Allen Whitfield of Kelso, TN. sister Brandi Jo Blanco of Shelbyville, brother Christopher Whitfield of Kelso, TN. two grandchildren Aiden and Lily Whitfield, step sister Tiffany Metcalf of Chapel Hill TN.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday April 8, 2017 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
