Graveside service for Mrs. Jane Ayers Shelton, age 76, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Lincoln Cemetery with Rev. Tony Billions officiating. Mrs. Shelton passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at the Lincoln Care Center.

Mrs. Shelton was a native of Lincoln County, TN, the daughter the late John J. and Margaret Pauline Gault Ayers. She worked for Jonathan Logan, sold AVON and was of the Presbyterian faith.

Survivors include her husband Billy Joe Shelton of Fayetteville, TN, son Joe (Tammy) Shelton of Fayetteville, TN, daughter Sharon Lynn Shelton of Lakewood, CO, grandchildren Matthew Shelton, and Alexandria Shelton. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Angie Shelton.

There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.

Higgins Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mrs. Jane Ayers Shelton.
