Obituary

A memorial service for James “Jim” Holland King, age 71, of Fayetteville, will be conducted 4 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Johnson officiating. Mr. King passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. King was a native of Grundy Co., TN, the son of the late William Pink and Elizabeth King. He was a carpenter, Navy veteran and a member of the New Hope Baptist Church. He loved fishing, woodworking, Braves baseball and painting.

Survivors include his wife Connie Cloud King, children Sabrina (Greg) Wicks, Katrina (Donnie) Morris, Bobbie Jo Byars, David Byars, Mary Cloud, brother Wilson (Ruby) King and several grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by son Clint Cloud, 1 brother and 5 sisters.

There will be no visitation prior to the memorial service.

Higgins Funeral Home is honored to assist the family of Mr. James “Jim” Holland King.

    Jim was a good kind man. My husband and I appreciated everything he did for us, such as adding a handicapp outlet to our home and many other appreciated kindness.
