Funeral services for Mr. James Edward Capley, age 73, of Fayetteville, will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Vann Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Memorial Gardens.

            Mr. Capley was a native of Lincoln County and was the son of the late Adell and Lena Mae Capley. He was a Supervisory Photographer for the U.S. Army Missile Command at Redstone Arsenal, was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a member of the Fayetteville First Baptist Church.

            Survivors include his wife: Janice Burton Capley, one daughter: Cydney Adams of Manchester, two sons: James Daniel and wife Jennifer of Mulberry, Bradley Cates and wife Sheree of Mulberry, one brother: Fred M. and wife Hilda Capley of Fayetteville, five grandchildren: Carley Capley, Zachary Price, Nicholas Price, Dillon Capley, and Dalton Capley, and two great grandchildren: Destiny Willis and Jonathan Willis.

            In addition to his parents Mr. Capley was preceded in death by his son Stephen Capley and three brothers: Thomas, Harold and Charles Capley.

            Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening from 5-8 PM at the Higgins Funeral Home.
