Funeral services for Mrs. Gene Smith Bailey, age 84 of Fayetteville will be conducted Wednesday morning at 10AM at the Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Rev. Kirk Smith officiating. Burial will follow in Kelso Cemetery beside her husband Rev. Virgil Bailey. Mrs. Bailey died Sunday in Donalson Care Center.

She was a native of Kelso and the daughter of the late Rev. David B. and Annie Elizabeth Stammer Smith. She was a homemaker, a diligent servant of the church and a member of the Kelso Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Survivors include two grandchildren Brandy Syler of Fayetteville and Vicki Syler Coleman of College Grove, niece Maribeth Smith McGuire and husband (Rev. James McGuire) of Greeneville, TN, and one nephew Rev. David R. Smith of Longview, TX.

Visitation with the family will be Tuesday evening 5-8PM at Higgins Funeral Home.
