It is with regret that we announce the passing of Mrs. Elizabeth Anne Murray, age 79, of Adamsville, TN. Higgins Funeral Home is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Murray.
Mrs. Murray was born on April 9, 1939 in Rogers Springs, TN to the late Allen Hyman and Jessie Ruth Capshaw Burgess. She was a kindergarten teacher at Adamsville Elementary School for 30 years. Mrs. Murray passed away on September 14, 2018 surrounded by family.
Survivors include her daughters, Leigh Anne (Mike) Harrington of Taft, TN and Libby (Jim) Estes of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Cooper Estes, Ally Harrington, Tate Estes, and Meredith Harrington; and brother, Harold Burgess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Murray.
I am saddened at the passing of Mrs. Anne. While we shared the sadness is for us but grateful they have escaped their disease. I truly enjoyed knowing her . She was a beautiful lady and loved you all. I am grateful to know and live you girls. Thinking of you at this time.
