Graveside funeral service for Edith Eudeara Hill Ivey, age 84, of Fayetteville, TN will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Macedonia Cemetery, with burial by her first husband, John Clifford Summers. Bro. James Strope will officiate. There will be no visitation prior to the graveside service.
Mrs. Ivey was born on August 8, 1934 in Lincoln County, TN to the late Ollie and Dessie Hopkins Hill. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Edith passed away on December 20, 2018 at Regency of Huntsville, AL.
Survivors include her daughters, Patsy (Larry) Miller of Hazel Green, AL, Judy (Jerry) Stewart of Huntsville, AL, and Linda (Cecil) Walden of Flintville, TN; grandchildren, Keri (Clay) Bailey, Jimmy Miller, Gary (Heather) Warden, Brad (Stacey) Warden, Tabitha (Kelley) Whalen, Tracy (Benny) Cooper, and Tammy (Jerry) Brown; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and first husband, Mrs. Ivey was preceded in death by her second husband, Hurley Ivey; siblings, Leonard, Clifford, Clarence, Leland, Edward, Phillip and George Hill, Virginia Wyman, Frances Fly, and Ollie Jean Hill.
