Celebration of Life Service for Mr. Earle Gaines Harris, age 83, of McBurg, formerly of Huntsville, AL will be conducted Saturday at 10AM at McBurg United Methodist Church. Mr. Harris passed away Monday February 11 at his residence. He was a native of Davidson County, TN and the son of the late Amos Forgey and Virginia Louise Gaines Harris. He was a veteran of WW II serving in the U. S. Navy, a retired electrical engineer with NASA and attended the McBurg United Methodist Church. Survivors include a daughter Kathy Jones and husband Jamie of McBurg, son Keith Harris and wife Elena of Hesperia, CA, grandchildren Sara Oblas and husband Ben of Ellensburg WA, Maggie Shelton and husband Brad of Birmingham, AL, Jinny McGill and husband William of Silver Springs, MD, Oksana and Alona Harris of Hesperia, CA, great grandchildren Keith McGill and Alexandra Shelton.
